Effective June 12, 2026, the Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC) was renamed the Commission for the Protection of Persons with Disabilities (CPPD) pursuant to An Act Relative to Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities, st. 2026, c. 102. DPPC and CPPD may be used interchangeably in matters that were initiated prior to this name change.
